Singaporeans have mostly adopted the contact tracing efforts by the government a.k.a. SafeEntry and TraceTogether. However, whether or not they properly utilise these platforms, is another issue entirely.
After months of having to deal with the cumbersome process of checking into venues with a QR code via SafeEntry (an absolutely essential part of Singapore’s contact tracing system), people have found creative ways around it.
Though it’s intentions are good, SafeEntry has become a chore for many, to the point that people don’t want to do it anymore —even if it might save their lives.
So, how can we make the action of checking in less of a chore?
